English lessons Singapore is a teaching service that provides English lessons to all ages and all levels of learner. All of our teachers are native speakers. This is because we believe to learn English properly it is best that you learn from a native speaker.
Every teacher is qualified to teach English. We like to make sure all of our teachers have teaching experience to make sure your lessons are as interesting and exciting as possible. All teachers have a background check to make sure they are of the highest quality.
All teachers have their own teaching style, however, we guarantee that all of our lessons are as informative as they are enjoyable. Our lessons are suitable for everyone and anyone who wants to learn or improve their English. We can also help with IELT’s exam study. Owen Evans is A Native English Speaking Teacher From The UK
Hi Everyone, My Name name is Owen Evans and I am a professional Native English teacher from the UK. My lessons are always both interesting and fun. I like to make sure we talk about your hobbies and interests as well as learning what you wish to learn.
I am a highly qualified teacher who has been teaching English for over two years to students from all over the world. I’ve also taught guitar for almost 10 years to students of all ages. I currently hold a Degree in Music as well as being a TEFL certified teacher.
My hobbies include Travelling, Music, Guitar, Football/Soccer, Language, Food and Culture so I am confident that we can find lots of topics to talk about.

Personally, we would recommend at least two 30 minute lessons per week. This way you will see a big improvement over a few months.
Both IELTS and TOEFL tutoring are available to help you prepare for any upcoming exams you may have. We can study together for the exam & then when you are ready I can help you apply for your exam.
Yes, every teacher has to come from a teaching background with experience. We also make sure every teacher has had a background check.
How Lessons Work
Our Lessons are taken via video chat. Our preference is to use Skype or Facetime because they are both free to download. We are, however, open to other platforms. We also offer a short 15 min consultation lesson if you want to discuss your goals in learning English before we begin your lesson course. You can download Skype for free by clicking here.
Learning materials and instructions will be sent to you by your teacher. If your teacher requires you to buy any books, they will tell you to do so.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before each lesson. We recommend that you are ready for your lesson early and then the lesson will run on time and as early as possible.
When the lesson has finished, your teacher will send you a review form. This form will include the new words you have learned along with any words you have found difficult. It is expected that you practice these words so you can improve your English level for the next lesson. Review forms can be sent in English, 日本語, 한국어 & 中文.
Prices
Our prices:
USD$15 per 30 min lesson.
$30 per 60 min lesson.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before the lesson is due to start. If payment is not received then your lesson will be cancelled. If you have an alternative agreement with your teacher then this will be honoured.
We accept payment via Bank Transfer, Paypal & Transferwise. Other options may be available so please ask if you wish to use an alternative method of payment.

We are currently offering 6 lessons for the price of 5 on both 30 minute and 1-hour lessons. This means that the last lesson in a block of 6 is free of charge.

Singapore is a small but amazing place that has many things to see and do. Here are some of my favourites that tie in with English studies:
If you are at the stage where you are a very strong English speaker and you want to further your education in English then I would recommend the National University Of Singapore or Nanyang Technological University. Both universities have courses in English and are very good universities.
If you are looking for books to help with study then I would check out the Kinokuniya Bookstore located on Orchard Rd, Singapore 238872. This place has a wide range of books in English to help improve your English.
If you want to visit an English style pub then I would recommend The Penny Black which has a wide range of ales and beers on tap as well as some great pub food. You can find this place on Boat Quay, Singapore 049817.
If you are looking for some good food then The Queen and Mangosteen is a great UK style restaurant and bar with great traditional food on offer. It can be found on Harbourfront Walk, Singapore 098585.
