English Lessons Seoul offers one to one lessons of a very high standard with Native English Speakers. Here is a summary of our lessons:

Owen Evans is a professional Native English speaking teacher from the United Kingdom.
Hi! I’m an English teacher from the United Kingdom called Owen. Making learning enjoyable and maximizing our learning during your lessons, in my opinion, is crucial. We will study a variety of skills together as a result of the extensive teaching expertise I have.
I have been teaching English to students from all around the world for more than two years as a highly trained teacher. I’ve also been teaching guitar to pupils of all ages for about ten years. I am now a qualified TEFL teacher and also have a degree in music.
My hobbies include Travelling, Music, Guitar, Football/Soccer, Language, Food and Culture so I am confident that we can find lots of topics to talk about.

Yes. At English Lessons Seoul we teach a wide range of learners from young to old.
Both IELTS and TOEFL tutoring are available to help you prepare for any upcoming exams you may have. We can study together for the exam & then when you are ready I can help you apply for your exam.
Yes, Beginners are welcome to come for lessons. I have a lot of experience in teaching all levels of student. I will always make sure you feel comfortable and I will make sure my teaching materials have Korean translation on them for you.
How Lessons Work
Lessons are delivered using Facetime or Skype. Both can be downloaded for free online for desktop and mobile devices. If you wish to discuss upcoming lessons, you can take a free 15-minute lesson. We know that learning can be quite challenging, thus this is crucial. You can download Skype for free by clicking here.
All textbooks and practice materials will be sent over via email. Sometimes our teachers may require you to buy a textbook. If this is the case, you will be told before the lesson.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before each lesson. We recommend that you are ready early for your lesson. If you are late for your time slot then the lesson will be shorter or cancelled.
When the lesson has finished, your teacher will send a review form with words that you need to practice. This document will also include new vocabulary you have learned. It is expected that you practice these words so you can improve your English level for the next lesson. Review forms can be sent in English, 日本語, 한국어 & 中文.
Prices
Our prices:
$30 USD Per hour – $15 per 30 mins.
Payment must be received at least four hours prior to the start of your course. The lesson will be canceled if the payment is not made. It’s acceptable when students and teachers come to an alternative agreement. If this occurs, your instructor will always let us know.
We accept payment via Bank Transfer, Paypal, KakaoPay & Transferwise. Other options may be available so please ask if you wish to use an alternative method of payment.

Everything English In Seoul
There are a lot of great things English Themed in Seoul. Here are some of my favourites:
A bookstore that has a lot of English books for practice would be “What the book”. This store has a wide range of English books for you to buy. The store is located on Bogwang-ro, Itaewon 1(il)-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
If you are looking to drink then I would recommend the Wolfhound Pub in Itaewon. This place also does a great English Breakfast and is located on Bogwang-ro 59-gil, Itaewon 1(il)-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
If you are looking for an English speaking university then Seoul National University and Sejong University both offer course options in English and options to further your English studies.
If you wish to attend a British school then go no further than Dulwich International school.
And lastly, if you are looking for food, I would highly recommend the American themed Brooklyn the burger joint for some great steaks and burgers. Our favourite branch is located on Seorae-ro 2-gil, Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
