Hi, My name is Owen and I am a professional English teacher working for English lessons Moscow. I am from Scotland, which is in the UK. Don’t worry though, my accent is very neutral and easy to understand. My teaching style is always interesting and enjoyable.
I’m a highly experienced teacher who has been teaching English for a number of years as well as teaching guitar/music for almost 10 years. I will always use this experience to make sure your lessons are as informative as possible.
My hobbies include Music, Guitar, Football/Soccer, Language, Travel Food and Culture so I am confident that we can find lots of topics to talk about. I also speak conversational Japanese.

English Lessons Moscow currently offer both IELTS and TOEFL tutoring as part of our services. We will always make sure you are prepared for any proficiency exam you may be taking.

How The Lessons Work
Most of our lessons are taken online. We believe the best options are skype or facetime however we are open to other platforms. We offer a free 15 min consultation lesson if you wish to talk to your teacher before committing to lessons. You can download Skype for free by clicking here.
Your designated teacher will send you all learning materials over via email. If you need to buy a textbook. your teacher will tell you.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before each lesson. We recommend that you are ready and waiting for your lesson 5 minutes before it will start. This way we will get the full length of lesson complete with a few extra minutes as well. If payment is not received the lesson will be cancelled.
Once the lesson has finished, you will be sent a review form with words that you need to practice or had problems with. You will need to practice the grammar and new vocabulary from this sheet so we can progress quickly. Review forms can be sent in English, 日本語, 한국어 & 中文.
Prices
Our prices:
15USD for a 30 Minute Lesson.
30USD for a 60 Minute Lesson.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before the lesson for it to take place. Payment will be arranged with your teacher.
We accept payment via Bank Transfer, Paypal & Transferwise. Other options may be available so please ask if you wish to use an alternative method of payment.

This is a great place to enjoy a drink in an English themed surrounding. If you are looking to try some British themed food then I would recommend going to Archie on Komsomol’skiy Prospekt, 42 строение 2, Moskva, 119048. This is a great place to enjoy English themed food.
If you are looking to buy some books in English to study then the best option would probably be Biblio Globus. This place is located at 6/3 Myasnitskaya Ulitsa, Bldg. 1. Metro Lubyanka, Kuznetsky Most, Kitai-Gorod. This place is perfect if you are looking for a wide variety of books in English.
