Hi Everyone, My Name is Owen Evans and I am a professional English teacher from the UK currently teaching in Hong Kong. I like to make sure my English lessons are always fun and enjoyable for all of my students.
I’m an experienced teacher who has been teaching English to students from all over the world for two years. I have also taught guitar for almost 10 years. I currently hold a Degree in Music as well as being a TEFL certified teacher.
My hobbies include Travelling, Music, Guitar, Football/Soccer, Language, Food and Culture so we can find some interesting topics to talk about together.

Yes, at English Lessons Macau we offer lessons to students of all ages. We also have a lot of experience in teaching young learners.
IELTS exams are available. We are always happy to work for what you want to learn and achieve.
I can speak basic Japanese and I have a team of translators who can help with any other language.
We currently offer 1 hour or 30 min lessons with our English Teachers In Macau. However, if you wish to have a shorter or longer lesson, Please send us an email and we will try our best to fit your needs.
How Lessons Work
We like to take our lessons online which means you can learn from the comfort of your own home or at a cafe or during work breaks. Usually, we use Skype or Facetime for this. With these platforms, we can Video Chat Or Phone Call. You can download Skype for free by clicking here.
Any Documents or textbooks will be sent over via email before the lesson takes place. If your instructor wants you to buy a textbook for the lessons they will let you know via email.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before each lesson. We recommend that you are ready for every lesson early to ensure that we always begin on time.
After every lesson has taken place our teacher will send a review form with words that you need to practice as well as any new vocabulary learned during the lesson. It is expected that you practice these words so we can move onto a new topic for the next lesson. Review forms can be sent in English, 日本語, 한국어 & 中文.
Prices
Our prices are currently the following:
15USD per 30 min lesson.
30USD per 60 min lesson.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before the scheduled lesson for it to take place unless you have a different arrangement with the teacher. Payment details will be sent via email once a lesson is arranged. To arrange a lesson please email us using the details provided.
We accept payment via Bank Transfer, Paypal & Transferwise. Other options are available so please email if you have any questions.

We are currently offering 6 lessons for the price of 5 on both 30 minute and 1-hour lessons. This Means you can get 6 one hour lessons for 1500HKD instead of the regular price of 1750HKD. This Means one lesson is free.
