Hi Everyone, My Name name is Owen Evans and I am a professional Native English teacher from the UK. I’ve had a lot of experience in teaching students from all over the world. I like to make sure all of my lessons are fun and interesting. I look forward to our first lesson together.
I’m highly qualified having been teaching English for over two years to lots of different students from all over the world. I’ve also taught guitar for almost 10 years to students of all abilities and ages. I currently hold a Degree in Music as well as being a TEFL certified teacher.
My hobbies include Travelling, Music, Guitar, Football/Soccer, Language, Food and Culture so I am confident that we can find lots of topics to talk about.

Yes, we teach students of all learning level. Both beginners and advanced students are more than welcome. For our beginner students, we like to make sure our lessons are as easy to understand and enjoyable as possible.
Both IELTS and TOEFL tutoring are available to help you prepare for any upcoming exams you may have. We can study together for the exam & then when you are ready I can help you apply for your exam.
Skype and Facetime are both free platforms. This is why we prefer to use them. They provide HD calling for free so from my experience, these are the best options.
How Lessons Work
Lessons are generally taken from the comfort of your own home via video chat. We would recommend using Skype or Facetime. It is possible to use other platforms though. An initial free 15 min consultation lesson is available to discuss what you want to learn during your lessons. You can download Skype for free by clicking here.
All textbooks and learning materials will be sent over after your first lesson. If your teacher requires you to buy any textbooks, you will be notified via email before your lessons take place.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before each lesson. We recommend that you are ready and waiting for your lesson early. This way we can always start the lesson on time. If payment is not received the lesson will be cancelled. However, any agreement you have with your teacher will be honoured.
After every lesson has taken place our teacher will send a review form with words that you need to practice as well as any new vocabulary learned during the lesson. It is expected that you practice these words so we can move onto a new topic for the next lesson. Review forms can be sent in English, 日本語, 한국어 & 中文.
Prices
Our prices:
15USD for a 30 Minute Lesson.
30USD for a 60 Minute Lesson.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before the lesson for it to take place. If payment is not received the lesson will not take place. Payment details will be sent via email from your teacher.
We accept payment via Bank Transfer, Paypal & Transferwise. Other options may be available so please ask if you wish to use an alternative method of payment.

Both of these offer a wide range of courses all in English. This would definitely be a great step if your English is good enough.
If you are looking for English reading resources then I would definitely recommend checking out Unity Books Auckland Located on High Street, Auckland, 1010. This is a great store that will have anything you are looking for.
If you are looking for an English themed restaurant then I would recommend checking out the British Isles inn which serves a lot of great Uk Based food as well as a wide selection of beer. This place is located on Beach Road, Auckland 0630.
If you are more looking for a pub then the best one to check out would be Galbraith’s Alehouse which is a Scottish themed pub that has a wide range of beer and ale. This place can be found on Edin Terrace, Auckland 1023.
