This means you will learn the correct vocabulary as well as the correct accent. Right now, All of our teachers are from the United Kingdom.
Every teacher is qualified to teach English. We like to make sure all of our teachers have teaching experience to make sure your lessons are as interesting and exciting as possible. All teachers have a background check to make sure they are of the highest quality.
Every teacher will have their own teaching style. However, we can guarantee that every lesson will be fun. Our teachers will make sure that you learn what you want to learn. Owen Evans Is a Native Speaking English Teacher From The UK.
Hi Everyone, My Name name is Owen Evans and I am a professional Native English teacher from the UK. I like to make sure all of my students enjoy their lessons. As well as that, I feel it is very important to teach you what you want to learn and that we learn with the Music and Movies that you enjoy.
I am a highly qualified teacher who has been teaching English for over two years to students from all over the world. I’ve also taught guitar for almost 10 years to students of all ages. I currently hold a Degree in Music as well as being a TEFL certified teacher.
My hobbies include Travelling, Music, Guitar, Football/Soccer, Language, Food and Culture so I am confident that we can find lots of topics to talk about.

At English Lessons Brisbane we offer lessons for all ages. It is never too early or too late to start learning English. Our enjoyable lessons are interesting for all ages of student.
Both IELTS and TOEFL tutoring are available to help you prepare for any upcoming exams you may have. We can study together for the exam & then when you are ready I can help you apply for your exam.
Yes you can, Once we have a wider selection of teachers we are happy for you to let us know your preference of teacher.
How Lessons Work
Most of our lessons are via video chat. The platforms that we prefer are Facetime and Skype. However, we are happy to use other platforms if you prefer. A free 15-minute consultation lesson is available if you want as well to ensure we know what you want to achieve. You can download Skype for free by clicking here.
Learning materials and instructions will be sent to you by your teacher. If your teacher requires you to buy any books, they will tell you to do so.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before each lesson. We recommend that you are ready for your lesson at least 10 mins before it is due to start. If you are late, the lesson will be cancelled.
When the lesson has finished, your teacher will send you a review form. This form will include the new words you have learned along with any words you have found difficult. It is expected that you practice these words so you can improve your English level for the next lesson. Review forms can be sent in English, 日本語, 한국어 & 中文.
Prices
Our prices:
15USD per 30 min lesson.
30USD per 60 min lesson.
Payment has to be received at least 4 hours before the scheduled lesson. If the payment is not received then the scheduled lesson will be cancelled. If you have a different arrangement with your teacher then this rule does not apply as we will honour any student teacher agreement made prior to the lesson taking place. Payment details will be sent once you have scheduled a lesson with your teacher.
We accept payment via Bank Transfer, Paypal & Transferwise. Other options may be available so please ask if you wish to use an alternative method of payment.

English courses & things to do In Brisbane
Brisbane is a beautiful city with a wide range of things to do and see as well as lots of things to help improve your English. Here are some of my favourites:
If you want to really further your English and study in university using English then the best universities would be the University Of Queensland and Griffith University. Both of these have a wide range of courses that are taken in English.
If food is more your thing and you want some traditional English food then make sure to stop by Pig N Whistle located on Eagle Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000. Here you can find a wide range of British Beer and food that is of a very high standard.
If you are looking for books to help with English study then I would definitely check out Dymocks Bookstore which has a wide range of books to help you with your English studies. This store is located on Albert St, Brisbane City QLD 4000.
If you just want to sightsee, then there are so many options. However, for me, the standout thing to do will always be the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
Lastly, if you are just looking to drink and try some good beer then I would definitely recommend Mick O’Malleys Irish Pub. This place has a great atmosphere as well as some great beers and is located Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000.
